The new community center in Grandview, Missouri, includes a rock climbing wall, large workout facility, various meeting rooms, and a recreation pool complete with water slide and lap lanes. But in order to be most effective for programming purposes, the key to the aquatic area included separating the recreation and lap pools to allow the pools to be kept at different temperatures. In addition, colorful walls and spray features surround the zero-depth entry, current channel, waterslide plunge pool and lap lanes.
