The existing Fairview Pool, constructed in 1962, was an L-shaped pool focused on deep water with limited features, a separate wading pool, and a deteriorated bathhouse. After evaluation, it was clear that the facility needed to be brought current on code requirements and enhanced to meet the current patron demands. Utilizing the existing pool basin and stainless steel gutter, the renovation plan included removing the wading pool and connecting a new zero depth area to the main pool, while adding fun new water features such as a current channel, water slides and toddler features, maintaining a short course lap area.
