Dave has been a licensed engineer in the aquatic industry since 1975, specializing in evaluating, planning, and designing aquatic facilities throughout the United States. He excels in outlining client goals as well as developing pool concept plans, project schedules, and budgets. His capabilities and manner of applying aquatic design services make him a highly sought-after and referred aquatic engineering and design consultant. Dave is also a published author and a frequent speaker at national and state aquatic and park and recreation conferences.

Jeff Bartley, Professional Engineer
Principal

As a licensed professional engineer in 10 different states across the country, Jeff has specialized in hydraulics and pool and fountain design for almost 15 years. His extensive water research and varied project experience offers Jeff the tools to understand the complex technical aspects of planning and designing aquatic facilities to meet each project’s unique challenges and goals.

Craig Roy, Professional Engineer
Principal

Since Craig began working in the aquatic design industry in 1993, he has developed an understanding of the importance of working closely with each client, and strives to establish clear and open communication to achieve each project’s aesthetic, functional, and financial goals. In addition, as a licensed professional engineer and a Certified Pool Operator Instructor by the National Swimming Pool Foundation, Craig is able to bring a fresh and unique technical and operational perspective to create innovative and successful aquatic facility designs.

Michael Fisher, Professional Engineer
Project Manager

Michael has been involved in providing evaluation, design, and construction administration services for aquatic facilities since 1996. He understands that both high quality customer service and products are extremely important to his clients. He also realizes that maintaining the project budget and schedule is necessary for his clients to achieve their overall goals, and has demonstrated that innovation and creativity can be applied in practical designs without increasing costs or extending schedules.

Melinda Fridy, Professional Engineer
Project Manager

Melinda has a true love for finding and developing new and unique solutions to any challenge, and since joining our team in 2004, she has developed several tools to further improve and streamline our design process. In addition to her in-depth knowledge of the pool design process as a licensed engineer, Melinda also possesses a unique understanding of pool operations as a Certified Pool Operator through the National Swimming Pool Foundation. This additional training enables her to assist in pool and fountain start-up procedures and training, assemble detailed operation manuals, conduct operator training courses, and serve as a valuable resource after project completion.

Steve Shank
Project Design

Steve has been planning, drafting, and designing aquatic facilities since 1995. His experience includes developing concept plans, producing detailed construction designs, and assisting in construction administration duties, including site visits. Steve’s intense ability to focus on small details uniquely qualifies him to produce and review construction plans as well as calculate projected costs. Steve’s overall involvement with developing documents for numerous aquatic facilities has ensured successful aquatic projects for all.
